The Department of Finance is the only university department in Switzerland that offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in academic education with a focus on Banking and Finance.

The Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance provides students with a foundational education in economics with a focus on topics in banking, corporate finance, financial economics, quantitative finance, and sustainable finance.

The Department of Finance offers two different Master's programs: the Master of Arts in Banking and Finance and the Joint Master of Science in Quantitative Finance in collaboration with ETH Zurich.

The Department of Finance offers some modules in collaboration with industry lecturers. These seminars provide a special insight into practice and the application of theoretical concepts.
